Asahiya Ryokan in Nozawa Onsen has a very good location, 100m to main street & 250m walk to Yu Road escalator up to Hikage Gondola of the Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort. Japanese tatami room/washitsu (up to 5 guests) & Japanese/western combo rooms (up to 4 guests); all with private toilet & bathing in the onsen onsite.
