Our stay at the Hotel Metropolitan Morioka New Wing was very easy and convenient. The hotel provided good access to a range of eateries, and it was reasonably close to the train station so that we could walk there on our departure day.

The beds were comfortable, and our room was decent sized which is handy when you’ve got all your ski gear, and the bathroom was a real bathroom with a proper bath, not one of those funny little pre-fab bathrooms shoved in the corner.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with a large range of food items to choose from.
