Overview

The Greater Caucasus in Georgia are deep in snow by mid-winter. The remote Kazbegi region north of the largest ski resort in Georgia, Gudauri provides endless untracked powder ski opportunities from a comfortable base at Kazbegi.

Itinerary

From the moment you land in Georgia at Tbilisi airport (TBS), you can have a care-free ski holiday. You will be met & transferred from the airport direct to your hotel in Kazbegi. After two full days heliskiing, the third day has optional heliskiing, ski touring or resort skiing at Gudauri. A final day and night is spend exploring the Georgian capital of Tbilisi & immersing oneself in its incredible culture. For detailed info see the Itinerary tab.

Heli-Skiing

Two full days heliskiing days with local guides are included in the tour, with an option for a third heli-ski day, a guided ski tour or day skiing Gudauri. A minimum 10 runs & 5,000m vertical is guaranteed across the two days. The helicopters are top of the line A-stars and the operators are European standard. Heliski drop off points are up to 3,500m elevation, with runs .

All safety gear and ski gear is included in the tour price.

Lodging & Meals

The beautifully decorated Hotel Kazbegi is your base when skiing the Caucasus. Contemporary rooms, delicious food, comfortable lounge areas, and glorious mountain views await you. All meals are included.

Day 1: Transfer & Acclimatization Day

You will be met at Tbilisi international airport in the morning and then driven on the 3 hour transfer to your base in Kazbegi. Acclimatisation day, free evening.

Day 2: Heliski

Full day heliskiing with a minimum 5 runs & guaranteed 2,500 vertical metres.
