Solitude Lodging

The small pedestrian village at Solitude Utah has been created to mimic a European ski village, including the Bavarian style Inn at Solitude. The desired atmosphere is of an old-world feel, but it seems so quiet that it doesn’t feel that European. The village is adorable though, and considering it is so small, all the Solitude lodging is conveniently located close to other buildings and the Solitude ski area.

Much of the Solitude lodging is condo style with one to three bedrooms per unit. There are also various vacation homes, whilst for singles or couples, there are some studio apartments available or the Inn at Solitude has hotel style accommodation.

Solitude accommodations can be booked as part of Solitude ski packages or as lodging only.

Solitude Hotel

The Inn at Solitude is an elegant hotel located right next to the village bridge and has ski-in ski-out convenience. The facilities are fantastic including fine dining at St Bernard’s, a day spa, and an outdoor heated pool and hot tub.

Solitude Condos and Studios

Eagle Springs (East and West) Lodges are a short walk (about 3 mins) to the ski area and have studios and condos. These Solitude condos have very easy access to the Club Solitude facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, games rooms, theatre, and fitness center. Other guests at Solitude Resort are also welcome to use these Club Solitude amenities.

Creekside is right next to the ski area and is pretty much ski-in ski-out except for a fraction of skating across the village bridge. The lodging consists of quality 1-3 bedroom condominiums.

Powderhorn is near Creekside and has 1-3 bedroom condos.

The Crossings and Alpine Creek are town homes on the periphery of the village, but still within easy walking distance of the ski area. These condos and vacation rentals can be booked via Solitude Resort Lodging.

Another alternative is to stay at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Cottonwood Heights and Midvale are located between the two Cottonwood Canyons where some great value hotels can be found. There are dining options in these suburbs, so you can choose to dine locally or go downtown.  

Cottonwood Heights is 16 miles from downtown SLC and is only 14 miles (an easy 20 min drive) from Solitude Ski Resort and 16 miles from Brighton.
