Snowbasin has no on-mountain accommodations, which is somewhat surprising considering the extravagant day lodge infrastructure. The closest accommodations are in the Upper Ogden Valley.
The Upper Ogden Valley is a rural area with pretty undulating farmland and the Pineview Reservoir at its center. Most accommodation options are within the small towns of Huntsville and Eden (including the Wolf Creek Village). Lodging in all these areas is very inexpensive relative to Park City and the Cottonwood Canyons areas.

Huntsville is the closest town to Snowbasin, with “downtown” Huntsville being 8.5 miles away from the ski resort. Accommodations mostly consist of condos and vacation rentals.

Eden Accommodations
Eden is closer to Powder Mountain and you might consider this area if you plan to also ski at PowMow. Eden is located approximately 14 miles / 25 mins drive from Snowbasin. Eden is a small town with a supermarket, a few shops, and various restaurants.
Eden accommodations include condos, town-homes and freestanding luxury vacation homes.

Powder Mountain Accommodation
For those who plan to also ski at Powder Mountain, the other option is to stay on-mountain at Pow Mow. The various ski-in ski-out condos and vacation homes are very family oriented.

Ogden Hotels
It is possible to stay in Ogden; a small rural city that is home to a large air force base. There are plenty of chain motels and hotels that provide great value accommodation.
One of the advantages of staying in Ogden is the large range of shops, restaurants and bars.
