Powder Mountain lodging options are on-mountain or down in the Ogden Valley. Families or others who want the convenience of ski-in ski-out and are happy to stay-in for the night may want to choose on-mountain Powder Mountain accommodations.
However if you want the flexibility to also ski at Snowbasin or Nordic Valley, or want to go out for dinner, then staying off-mountain in Ogden Valley might be a better choice. Ogden Valley accommodations are also much more affordable than at the Powder Mountain Ski Resort.
The Ogden Valley comprises of the small rural city of Ogden (20 miles - 40 mins from Powder Mountain) and a few small towns: Eden (8 miles – 20mins from Powder Mountain); Huntsville (14 miles – 36 mins from Powder Mountain); and Liberty (9 miles – 26 mins from Powder Mountain).
On-Mountain Powder Mountain Lodging
On-mountain accommodation affords many benefits. There’s no waiting to get up the road on a powder day, and much of the Powder Mountain lodging is ski-in ski-out, so you can walk out the front door and start skiing or snowboarding. Most of the lodging is in the form of condos and vacation rentals. All wheel drive or 4WD cars are recommended for those staying on-mountain.

Eden Accommodations
Eden is the closest town to Powder Mountain and this also incorporates the Wolf Creek Village accommodations. It’s a small town but there is a supermarket, a few shops, and various restaurants and drinking holes. The UTA bus to Powder Mountain stops at Eden Park N Ride and the Moose Hollow Condos which are close to the Wolf Lodge condos and Worldmark Wolf Creek. Eden lodgings include condominiums, town-homes and freestanding luxury vacation homes.

Huntsville is approximately 40 mins drive from Powder Mountain and about 25 mins drive from Snowbasin so this can be a good place to base yourself to hop between both ski areas.

Ogden and Ogden Valley Hotels
It is possible to stay in Ogden (23 miles - 40 mins drive from Powmow); a small rural city that is home to a large air force base. There are plenty of chain motels and hotels that provide great value accommodation. One of the advantages of staying in Ogden is the large range of shops, restaurants and bars.
