Multi-Day Heli Skiing Packages
Black Ops Valdez offers multi-day packages that include accommodation and all meals. The configurations are:
- 3 days/3 nights that include 2 hours flight time. These packages run Thursday through to Sunday.
- 4 days/4 nights that include 3 hours flight time. These package run Sunday through Thursday.
- 7 days/7 nights that include 5 hours flight time. These packages run from Sunday to Sunday.
- Single day heli skiing - subject to availability
Each of the heli skiing packages include a set amount of Hobbs time (active flight time) and then charged per 1/10th hour thereafter, so you only have to pay to fly up what you want to ski or ride down. This package format is ideally suited to Alaska heli skiing where the weather can be fickle.
All packages include the provision of a airbags, beacon, pack, shovel, probe and harness. Skis and snowboards are available to rent for a very reasonable price.
BOV hosts a maximum of 16 guests at any one time made up of 4 groups of 4, each with a guide.

Down Days
Alaska enjoys abundant snowfall, yet along with the big snowstorms comes the possibility of no-fly days for the Alaska heli skiing outfits. On average, Black Ops Valdez heli skiing fly 80% of days, and fortunately they provide some good options for down days.
Cat skiing is a great alternative and other activities include snowmachine skiing and tours, boat tours of Port Valdez, ice climbing, ski touring, cross country skiing, and even shooting!
