Copper Mountain Hotels and Condos

Copper Mountain lodging consists of hotels, studios, condos and vacation rentals. There are various properties that sit right at the base of the lifts in a ski-in ski-out position, whilst others require a short walk to get to the slopes.

There are three base villages at Copper Mountain, and because of the segregated terrain, each base area tends to service differing ability levels. In choosing lodging at Copper, it may be worth considering the ability levels of skiers and boarders in your group, or whether you want access to various amenities such as ski school or child care. You can look at all Copper Mountain lodgings for online bookings here >> and the map view shows the distinction of the villages and the lifts that rise from each village.

Center Village Copper Accommodations

Center Village is the main base area and has the American Eagle lift rising up from the village. This area has lots of intermediate terrain, although staying here will also be good for beginners and advanced riders. Of the three base areas, Center Village (the Village at Copper) has the most restaurants and bars and it has facilities such as child care.

East Village

East Village has the Super Bee as its primary chair lift and is typically ideal for advanced riders because the majority of the terrain in this area consists of black trails. Intermediate riders will also be able to ski-in ski-out here, but beginners will need to catch a shuttle bus to the other base areas. East Village has a few facilities such as ski shops, restaurants and bars, but there is no ski and ride school meeting point at East Village. On the plus side for kids, the tubing hill is located in East Village.

West Village (The Schoolhouse)

West Village features the Schoolhouse, the home of kids’ ski school. The ski area immediately above the village is for beginners, and main chair lifts rising from the village are Kokomo Express and Woodward Express.

Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne Accommodations

Other options for Copper Mountain lodging are in the nearby towns of Frisco (7 miles away), Dillon (12 miles) or Silverthorne (11 miles). The hotels and motels in these towns are much more suited to the budget conscious holiday maker plus they have a great variety of restaurants, bars, shopping and other services.
