The Villages at Copper
In choosing accommodation at Copper, it may be worth considering the ability levels of skiers and boarders in your group. There are three base villages at Copper Mountain, and because of the segregated terrain, each base tends to service differing ability levels. East village is typically for the hard-core, Union Creek is for beginners, and Center Village is the main base area and is a compromise between the two. See the

Copper Mountain Hotels & Condos
Copper Mountain Lodging provides 600 privately owned condominiums and houses for rent in the base area of Copper, as well as hotel and motel style accommodation. All are managed by the resort, and units (condos) are rated (silver, gold and platinum) by the building, not by individual unit. This means that while Copper tries to maintain standards, you may get lucky and get a gold room when you paid for silver. These are some of the options.
Copper One (Gold) has comfortable fully self contained condos (units) in a variety of configurations superbly located directly at the base of the American Eagle chair in Center Village.
Mountain Plaza (Silver) is for the budget conscious and located in the heart of Center Village adjacent to the base of the American Eagle chair. Mountain Plaza has large motel style rooms with fridges and microwaves, and one or two bedroom self contained units with full kitchens and lounges. For those with young families, Mountain Plaza also has Copper Mountain’s only child care facility.
Cirque (Platinum) is located 3 minutes from the lifts in Centre village. These gorgeous fully self contained accommodations have two bedrooms or three bathrooms plus a sofa bed in the living room. Huge cathedral-like ceilings add to the ambience of these units. Heated underground car parking and 3 pools/spas add to the attractiveness of this property.
Lewis Ranch (Platinum plus) is luxurious ski in /ski out homes located west of Union Creek adjacent to the Kokomo and Lumberjack chairlifts in a gated community. These have to be seen to be believed! Each home is exquisitely furnished and kitted out with top of the line appliances. Each house has at least 4 bedrooms, 5 or 6 bathrooms, 2 living areas, a huge kitchen and dining area, massive outdoor decks, BBQs, rooftop hot tub, steam room and 2 vehicle garage. This is a great place for a group wanting to make a very comfortable base for an extended holiday – but at a price!

Other options for accommodation are off-mountain in the nearby towns of Frisco, Dillon or Silverthorne. The hotels and motels in these towns are much more suited to the budget conscious holiday maker.
