Silverton Powdercats there are various options for nearby accommodation: the town of Silverton; Durango Mountain Resort; or the town of Durango.
Silverton Hotels and Motels
Silverton Powdercats is only 6 miles from the town of Silverton Colorado. This sleepy hollow is a fabulous step back in time with a population of only 500 people, some of which board up their buildings and migrate for the winter. This town is a great place to get away from it all and the
Silverton hotels and motels are very inexpensive.
The best hotel in town is the
Wyman Hotel and Inn, a historic hotel that has been lovingly restored and decorated with very fine antiques and furnishings. The rooms have luxurious touches and modern conveniences, and a couple of the rooms have jacuzzis. The feel of the hotel is that of a bed and breakfast, with very attentive service and lots of extra special touches. See our

Durango Mountain Resort Lodgings
Durango Mountain Resort (aka Purgatory) is a 20 minute drive from Silverton Powdercats. Accommodations at the ski resort include a hotel, condos and lots of townhomes. Most of the lodgings are not for the budget oriented, but they are conveniently ski-in ski-out if you choose to combine the Silverton cat skiing with resort skiing at Durango Mountain Resort.
Just a mile further south is the
Silverpick Lodge which provides charming lodge accommodation and modern condos at very reasonable prices. The chic bar and fantastic dining at the Sow’s Ear are also a major drawcard for the Silverpick Lodge. See our

Durango Hotels
The town of Durango, a 50 minute drive away, has an abundance of accommodation options including hotels and very inexpensive motels. Durango is a college town, so compared to Silverton it is absolutely pumping with nightlife and a range of restaurants.
