The most conveniently located accommodations for the cat skiing are at Durango Mountain Resort aka Purgatory Ski Resort. You can easily walk to the meeting point for San Juan Ski Company in the village.
The resort has a range of lodging options including a hotel, condos, and vacation homes. Many of the properties are ski-in ski-out and are targeted at a luxury price point.

Durango Hotels
The town of Durango, a 30 minute drive away, has an abundance of accommodation options including historic hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts. One of the advantages of staying in Durango is that there is a large range of restaurants and bars, as well as a wider choice of shops and activities compared to Durango Mountain Resort.
Another plus for staying in Durango is the economical lodgings. And for those travelling on a shoestring (so they can afford to do more cat skiing!), there are motels on north Main Avenue that will vie for your business and offer a room for as little as $25 a night.
