A small number of shops are located within the Resort at Squaw Creek. Squaw Creek Sports, Sports Tahoe and Imprints provide fashion, ski gear and general clothing whilst Double Diamond Jewellery provides all the shiny bling bling.
Squaw Valley Village has a range of shopping available, but it is a high end ski resort and as such tends to have high end prices.
Most shopping opportunities are centred on the towns of Tahoe City and Truckee. Both require access to a vehicle, although a bus (the TART – Tahoe Area Regional Transit) does run to each town from the Squaw Valley Village.
Both Tahoe City and Truckee have a wide range of supermarkets, restaurants, banking facilities, gear shops and other specialty shops. Some good ski gear shops are located in Truckee near the intersection with the interstate (the I80).
