RestaurantsOther than the day time eateries, there are no ‘eating out’ options at Alpine Meadows; however the mountain recently introduced the Snowcat Dining Experience. It is on offer to groups three times a month and is held at the delightful Mid-mountain Chalet. Guests are transported to and from the Chalet by snowcat. Cost is in the realm of US$150/person.
A plethora of restaurant options exist in Tahoe City as well as some more expensive ones in Squaw Valley. It’s pot luck as to the quality of the food and service.
Bars & Nightlife
The base lodge at Alpine Meadows has the only après on the hill – the Compactor Bar. It does the job at the end of the day!
