This tour is designed for intermediate to expert skiers (sorry no boarders) with good fitness level and a sense of adventure. If you haven't ski-toured (or skinned) before that's no problem as the climbs are not too difficult.
Ski touring gear highly recommended if you want to get the most out of this trip.

Itinerary
Day 0
Pick up airport
Hotel evening meeting gear check for backcountry skiing
Day 1
Wake up early to drive to Backcountry Cabin in Vallecitos.
Mid morning start skinning up one of two valleys locate above our cabin. We will have the day to enjoy easy open bowl skiing and depending on group level and fitness some nice chutes are easily accessible to where we will be hiking. We will have a pack lunch on the mountain and ski back to the cabin at the end of the day. After showers and snacks, dinner will be prepared by our cook along with some great local wine from Mendoza.
Day 2
We will get an early start to the day skinning up another valley where we will enjoy some steeper terrain and great bowl skiing. After a pack lunch and full day skiing we will return to the cabin and drive back to Mendoza. Stay one night in a boutique hotel in Mendoza.
Day 3
Drive to
Las Leñas
After settling into the Apartment or Hotel you will have the opportunity to ski that afternoon.
Day 4-9
Enjoy some of the best off-piste skiing on the planet! Las Leñas has some of the best lift accessible terrain anywhere in South America. From the top of the famous lift 'Marte' there are short hikes that can get you to huge bowls, or steep chutes. With a vertical drop of 4,000 feet this mountain is big enough to keep most people busy for months. Most all the off-piste is open to explore but must first sign off with the military. We highly recommend going with a guide for at least a couple days and/or someone that knows the area.
Las Leñas has a great nightlife with different restaurants and the highest casino in the world. There are always activities happening on the slopes and don't be surprised to see a fashion show happening at the end of the day for apre ski.
