The Mecca Travel team have a great passion for skiing, and have had years of experience skiing Utah’s resorts. They have a vast knowledge of Utah and have tailored the tour so it accommodates people of different abilities. They will be present for the entire period to meet and greet you at the hotel, answer any questions, have a chat about the resorts, attend the additional organised events, and for the experienced skiers, show them around some of our favourite areas at the resorts.

OverviewThis year, due to popular demand, Mecca Travel is running two Solo Skier & Boarder Tours.
The first tour runs at the same time that the world-famous Sundance Film Festival is on and is open to all levels of skiers & boarders.
The second tour is more pecifically designed for strong intermediate and advanced skiers & boarders.
Each tour is 12 nights, (9 days skiing). Additional ski days can be purchased if people wish to maximise their time on the mountain.
Please note: The price allows for twin share, with another guest of the same gender, who is part of the tour. If a shared room is not suitable, King rooms are available at an additional cost. Please advise if you would prefer your own room when you request a reservation by the booking form linked to this page.
Utah has 9 ski resorts within 40 minutes – 1 hour from Salt Lake City Airport. Each tour provides the opportunity to experience up to 6 of Utah’s resorts.
Please note: Deer Valley and Alta are skier only mountains; no snowboards allowed. Alternate arrangements will be made for boarders on days where the tours hit those resorts.
Tour # 1 - All Levels (20th Jan - 1 Feb, 2013)The 6 resorts included in this tour are: The Canyons, Park City Resort, Deer Valley, Snowbasin, Snowbird or Alta and Solitude or Brighton Resort.
This tour includes:
- Return airport transfers from Salt Lake City Airport to Park City
- Return resort transfers from Park City to Snowbasin, Snowbird and Solitude Resorts
- 12 nights twin share accommodation at Park City Peaks Hotel, including breakfast daily
- 6 day ski pass valid at Park City, Deer Valley And The Canyons Resort
- 1 day pass to Snowbasin, Snowbird and Solitude Resorts (1 pass per resort)

Cost of Tour#2 - AUD$2,895 per person twin share / single suppliment $930 per person
AccommodationThe Park City Peaks Hotel
Centrally located and situated close to Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons, Deer Valley and Main Street Park City. The rooms have 2 queen beds, TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and high speed internet. The complex houses an indoor/ outdoor pool, whirlpool, dry sauna, full service restaurant and bar and grille. A full buffet breakfast is included daily and the hotel is located on the free bus route for easy access to the resorts and Main Street.
Cliff Lodge, Snowbird- Canyon View Room
The Cliff Lodge is ski-in/ ski-out and offers an array of dining options, a rooftop heated pool, four hot tubs, personal equipment locker, ski rental and repair shop and a concierge service. Each Cliff Lodge room has 2 x queen beds, a coffee maker, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board. A full buffet breakfast is included daily, plus complimentary access to the Cliff Spa, a powder perks discount booklet and access to discounted rental equipment.
Optional ExtrasThere are optional organised events that you can partake in such as a bobsled ride on the 2002 Olympic bobsled track, first tracks skiing at The Canyons Resort, a tour of the first ski in/ ski out Vodka and Whiskey distillery, night skiing, dinner at Deer Valleys fireside dining, Interconnect tour- allowing you to connect 4-6 ski resorts in one day. All of these events are additional to the base tour price. Pricing and additional information can be provided on request.
