Gulmarg Powder Adventure Tours
K-Line is an adventure travel company founded in 2009/10 offering ski tours to unique destinations with unexplored backcountry terrain in Kashmir (India), Japan, South America and Europe. Packages are
available for intermediates through to seasoned expert skiers & snowboarders.
Gulmarg (India) is their primary destination with
limitless amounts of backcountry terrain yet to be discovered.
Choose either an
8 day or 15 day package with a variety of accommodation standards from 2-star budget to 5-star deluxe.
The 8 day package includes 6 days of skiing/riding whilst the
15 day package includes 13 days. Every day will be a new adventure, with all of the backcountry and slackcountry terrain accessed by the highest skiable gondola in the world. Skinning and hiking is optional. All of the riding is tailoured to the group's collective ability and preference. The type of terrain offered will be determined by the group's ability and the avalanche risk on the day.
K-Line guides
are all certified & qualified guides, trained by the American Avalanche Association. The guiding ratio is max 6 guests to 1 guide. In addition to highly skilled guides, K-Line have developed an independent rescue service (K-Rescue) where in the event of an emergency, they have their own technology & resources to ensure success in a rescue situation
Outside of the skiing and riding you will be provided with a great Kashmiri cultural experience.
Ability & Terrain OptionsThese packages are aimed at skiers and boarders wanting to get the most out of Gulmarg's in-bounds off-piste terrain as well as its lift-accessed backcountry and slackcountry. You should be an intermediate piste skier or above, and off-piste riding experience is helpful although not necessary. If you're travelling alone, you will be matched with other riders of similar ability.
