We're based in Golden, BC, the center of countless powdery destinations, where we plan unbeatable trips and share with our guests intimate knowledge of the terrain we visit
Overview This tour is a week long, and our most popular due to options along the way. The destinations are spectacular, and the drive time is minimal.
While in the historic town of
Banff, we’ll have
Lake Louise and
Sunshine Village to choose from for 2 days of skiing one or both of these Rockies classics.
The following 4 days are spent at
Kicking Horse, within the ski area and out of bounds. With endless options in bounds, and twice as many out of bounds, this 11 year young resort delivers.
Itinerary:
Day 1 (Sat)
Fly into Calgary, meet your guides, and drive 1.5 hr to Banff and check into the hotel. We’ll talk about trip details, snow conditions, and get to know each other over dinner.
Day 2
Drive ½ hr to Sunshine Village for the day. Hopefully the Delirium Dive is open… In the afternoon back to Banff for a hot tub, and dinner out on the town.
Day 3
Check out of the hotel, and drive 1 hr to Lake Louise. Stunning views and huge terrain. After an après stop, we drive 1 hr through Kicking Horse Pass into Golden, where we’ll check into the bed and breakfast.
Days 4, 5, 6, & 7
Check out all the options at the Horse. If conditions allow, we’ll hike beyond the boundaries and get away from it all, not there’s usually much of a crowd… Classic ski town dining and shopping in the evening, and ‘feels like home’ lodging to relax and recharge the legs.
Day 8 (Sat)
A 3 hr drive back to Calgary to the airport, with plenty of scenic rest-stop options along the way.
