Singapore Hotels

Singapore accommodation caters to a wide range of budgets from dorm rooms up to glamorous 5 star hotels. Expect to pay a lot for a Singapore hotel room. Particularly mid-range hotels seem rather expensive. Here are a handful of Singapore accommodation options or you can look at availability and rates for a range of Singapore hotels here.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

This Changi Airport hotel is deluxe and caters particularly well to the business traveller, but skiers and snowboarders will equally enjoy it, with facilities such as a huge outdoor swimming pool, a day spa, and a couple of restaurants.

Unlike other airport hotels where you have to catch a shuttle bus to get there, this is really an airport hotel in its truest sense because it’s attached to Terminal 3 (Terminal 1 and 2 accessible via skytrain). The Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel has very spacious and stylish rooms and magnificent bathrooms, and the rooms are surprisingly quiet despite overlooking the runway.

The Powderhounds have stayed at this Singapore Airport hotel and loved it. Apart from being a lovely hotel, it was so easy to dump our big bags in the hotel room and then head in on the train to explore the city. The next morning we didn’t have to stress about getting to the airport to catch our flight because we were already there.

Raffles Hotel

Raffles is a 5 star Singapore hotel that is an incredibly iconic place to stay. In a grand old colonial building, it offers oriental luxury and oozes history. A Raffles bartender invented the famous Singapore Sling cocktail, so it seems essential to have at least one during your stay.

The Raffles Hotel is well located and close to the City Hall MRT train station and a shopping centre. It used to be located on the beachfront but the beach is long gone thanks to massive land reclamation!

Marina Bay Sands

The incredibly striking looking casino resort complex is apparently the second most expensive building in the world. It’s a 5 star hotel with a huge range of amenities, including the most talked about infinity pool that spans the 3 hotel towers and provides amazing views across the city. Only hotel guests can use the pool, so this is the place to stay if you want to lounge around this exclusive pool.

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel fronts Marina Bay. It’s adjacent to the Gardens By The Bay, and it’s a good choice for those who like cash-inos and designer brand shopping.

The hotel has over 2,500 rooms so you might feel more like a number than a name. The rooms are beautifully appointed and offer fabulous views, although some of them feel a little small.

Ritz Carlton Millenia

The Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel is also well located in the hub of Marina Bay, with the shopping mall, Singapore Flyer, and Gardens By the Bay all within a 5 minute walk. This luxury hotel offers generously sized rooms with views across Marina Bay or the city.
