Trelawn Place
Trelawn Place is one of Queenstown’s most popular and long established bed and breakfasts. If you are looking for something more than just a ski holiday - a touch of romance or to get away from the hustle and bustle, then look no further; this is a little piece of paradise.
Trelawn Place offers several accommodation options to suit your needs including luxury bed & breakfast (1 x double room, 1 x 2 +1), 3 self-contained cottages (sleeps up to 4 per cottage), a self-contained apartment (sleeps up to 4) and a self-contained house (sleeps up to 3).
Where is Trelawn Place?
Trelawn Place is a country home and B&B only 5 minutes (4km) drive from central Queenstown (towards Coronet Peak), 11 km (15 minutes) from the Queenstown Airport and only 15 minutes drive to the car park at Coronet Peak. Trelawn is located in a peaceful private setting and strategically placed to take advantage of beautiful views to Coronet Peak.
Accommodation
The Cherry Tree House (Self-contained, stand-alone - minimum 1 week)

This is the best position at
Trelawn for sun, views and privacy. The two storey stone Cherry Tree
House features chunky recycled beams, rough cast interior and
comfortable leather furniture. Other inclusions are a TV, DVD, a selection of books, under
floor electric heating and a cozy gas fire. The kitchen has a dish
washer. The king sized bed room upstairs with king and single bed has a juliet balcony, and windows on all sides. There is a generous heated tiled
bathroom with tub and shower and a walk in wardrobe as well as barbeque and
outdoor furniture on the vine covered patio. It's the best honeymoon
accommodation in Queenstown.
Cottages
(Self-contained, stand-alone - minimum 1 week)

Guests have a choice of three self-contained cottages. These consist of full
kitchen, large sitting area, fire place, TV and DVD, laundry, Juliet
balcony with river views, patio and garden furniture and barbeque. The cottage has a twin
and queen bedrooms and one bathroom. The cottage is suitable for children.
A rollaway cot can be provided on request.
Apartment
(Self-contained - minimum 1 week)

The apartment has a full kitchen, sitting area, gas fire place, TV, DVD, laundry availabillity,
Juliet balcony with river views, patio and garden furniture, king and
large single, and one bathroom. The large single can also be converted into a king-bed or two singles on request.
Bed & Breakfast (2 x Luxury Rooms
- no minimum stay)

Being a B&B, of course a cooked daily breakfast is available for those staying in the house. Rooms are double occupancy luxurious and romantic
hideaways, with king 4 poster beds (one with an extra single bed), one
with a bath tub, all with views from balconies, generous ensuite
bathrooms, TV, tea coffee facilities and fridge. The house is large, so
you have plenty of space for privacy if you wish.
Note: Breakfast can be provided for self-contained accommodations upon request for a small daily fee per person.
Property Features
Trelawn is a majestic set of properties perched above the Shotover River set amongst several acres of spectacular gardens with river & mountain views.
The property features secure off street parking, a guest laundry (inc clothes dryer), a riverside Jacuzzi with amazing views and pool side stereo to create that private, romantic moment.
Broadband internet access is available.
There is no smoking in the house or the cottages and Trelawn Place is pet friendly accommodation.
Restaurant & Bar
Trelawn doesn’t have a restaurant however most of the accommodation is self-contained (with the exception of the B&B). If you feel the desire to not have to cook, there are literally hundreds of places to dine out all within a 5 minute drive.
So why stay at Trelawn Place?
Trelawn Place is a true touch of paradise hidden in a tranquil setting yet it is only 5 minutes drive from the exciting restaurants and bars that Queenstown has to offer. Gantleys, one of New Zealand's top restaurants, is only 3 minutes away.
If you are planning on skiing at Coronet Peak, it is only a short 15 minute drive to the car park so leisurely breakfasts are on the cards (apart from those powder days).
The accommodation is luxurious and if you are travelling in winter, this is their off-peak season and their rates are generally lower at this time of year.
