Where are Pounamu Luxury Apartments?
Pounamu luxury serviced apartments are located a short stroll (about 10 mins) to the heart of Queenstown and about 10 mins drive from Queenstown Airport. Each 1 & 2 bedroom apartment offers spectacular lake and mountain views.
Accommodation
Each apartment incorporates stunning interior designs with the latest modern conveniences, accommodating from 1 to 4 guests.
Configurations are:
- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
- 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom,
- Studio apartment
Each bedroom can be rented individually with separate keys either as a One Bedroom Apartment complete with full kitchen, dining, lounge and ensuite, or as a separate Studio Apartment with ensuite and kitchenette or rent both Apartment and Studio together for a Two Bedroom Apartment. (The Studio apartment King-size bed can be converted as two single beds).
Master Bedroom & Bathroom
A mezzanine floor bedroom with wonderful lake and mountain vistas, the master bedroom features a King-size bed, quality furniture, flat screen TV and a separate ensuite bathroom.
Second Bedroom & Bathroom
The second bedroom features separate tea and coffee making facilities providing a level of privacy for single’s, couples or business partners travelling together.
The quality King-size bed can be converted into two large single beds, flat screen TV and a separate ensuite bathroom makes the Pounamu apartments truly versatile.
Quality bed and bathroom linen are standard within each apartment. Both bathrooms include hairdryers.
Living Areas
Each apartment has a gas fireplace, underfloor heating, central heating, polished wooden floors and beautiful furniture.
They also feature the latest electronic equipment including stereo/home theatre system, large LCD TV and Computer with broadband internet access. You can choose from 9 SKY channels & 11 Free to air channels.
Kitchens are fitted with quality European appliances and full cooking facilities for stylish self catered in-house dining.
Each apartment has its own laundry area complete with tumble dryer, washing machine & ironing facilities. A laundry pick-up service is also available upon request.
There are also off-street covered car parks and ski storage lockers.

- Check in time is 3pm, Check out time is 11am.
- Minimum stay is 2 nights or 3 nights during public holidays.
- Stay 7 nights and 8th night is free.
- Free for children less than 12 months old when staying in 1 or 2 bedroom apartments - Portacot available for hire
