The Blue Peaks Lodge offers comfortable motel style accommodation in a central Queenstown location. This Queenstown accommodation is ideal for couples or small groups or families; especially those that want to save some pennies so that they can do more amazing Queenstown activities.
The Blue Peaks Lodge is somewhat visually distinctive. The hexagonal roof design has “blue peaks” that glow at night time, so you’ll have no troubles finding your way home if you’ve had a few to drink!
Where is the Blue Peaks Lodge?
The Blue Peaks Lodge is really well located on the corner of Sydney and Stanley St Queenstown. It’s just a hop, skip and a jump from the centre of town (a few minutes’ walk up the hill), yet far enough away not to be in the midst of the sometimes noisy craziness of Queenstown.
The Blue Peaks Lodge is located across the road from the very stylish
Blue Peaks Apartments.
Lodge/Motel Units
Motel configurations include studio or 1 or 2 bedroom units, most of which are self-contained with kitchens. The non-kitchen units sleep 2 persons, the studio and one bedroom units sleep up to 3, and the 2 bedroom units sleep up to 4 people. As a minimum all units have an ensuite bathroom, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities.
We stayed in a reasonably spacious studio unit that had a queen bed, single bed, couch and a small kitchen. As one would expect for this style of accommodation, the décor was not overly luxurious but the unit was very comfortable and functional. We were very happy with the accommodation.

The reception doubles as an information desk. The staff are very knowledgeable and only too happy to help with advice regarding any of the Queenstown activities.
Why Stay at the Blue Peaks Lodge Queenstown?
The Blue Peaks Lodge is in a fantastic location, close to all the action (but not too close), and within easy walking distance of the many bars and restaurants of Queenstown.
The lodge offers friendly hospitality and family friendliness, and the tariffs are inexpensive, especially considering that much of the accommodation is self-contained. Tariffs start at about $130 a night and go up to $230 for a 2 bedroom unit for 4 people. At approximately $60 a night per person, that’s delightfully “cheap as chups”!
