There is a plethora of accommodation in
Methven (Mt Hutt Village). Much of the accommodation is hidden in the back streets of Methven, only a short walk to the centre of town. Typically nightly rates are much lower than other New Zealand alpine tourist towns such as Wanaka and Queenstown, so you can find quality lodgings at a very economical price.

Top End Accommodation Don’t expect to find any large flashy 5 star hotels in this laid back town. However in Methven you will find some luxurious bed and breakfast style accommodation at very affordable prices. One example is the
Beluga Luxury Lodge.
Terrace Downs Resort also provides affordable luxury in one to four bedroom apartments. Terrace Downs is located a little out of Methven on the edge of the Rakaia Gorge at the base of Mt Hutt, so the views are absolutely superb.
