Accommodation
There is limited on-mountain accommodation at
Coronet Peak in a small ski club lodge – the
Otago Ski Club. The dormitory style accommodation is very cheap and is located adjacent to the car parks, just a few minutes walk to the lifts.
However, most people stay in
Queenstown accommodation, Arrowtown, or the surrounding areas. This provides the flexibility to ski at other resorts such as
The Remarkables,
Cardrona and
Treble Cone, which are close enough for a day trip. It’s an easy drive to Coronet Peak or shuttle buses provide transport from Queenstown to Coronet Peak and the other resorts, so it’s not a problem to stay off the mountain.
