The Shizukuishi ski resort is located in the
Iwate Prefecture of the
Tohoku region, about 28km northwest of the city of Morioka, and 13km north of the town of Shizukuishi.
Driving to Shizukuishi
Shizukuishi makes a great base to explore other nearby
Iwate ski resorts, so having a car is ideal. You can

Train To Shizukuishi

Guests of the
Shizukuishi Prince Hotel can get a courtesy shuttle bus from either of these train stations with reservation. Otherwise it’s a 40 minute taxi from Morioka Station or 20 minute taxi from the Shizukuishi Station.
