Villa Nozawa
Villa Nozawa is a well located Japanese Style Lodge operated by Westerners. The lodge is very family and child friendly as the managers also have chilrden.
Where is Villa Nozawa? The villa is
located on the outskirts of the village and only 3 minutes walk to the Karasawa ski area and about 10 minutes walk to the central pedestrian hub of the village.
The lodge is located very close to one of the best public onsens and within easy walking distance of the various other hot springs.
RoomsAll rooms are Japanese style (Tatami - Futon on the floor) and cater from 1 - 3 people per room. They are large (ideal for families) and are bright have great views of the mountains and surrounding village.
Most rooms have shared bathrooms however a few of the Double.Twin rooms do have a private bathroom.

Dining
Breakfast is largely western style with cereal and toast, and you may even find Vegemite to make you feel at home. A hot dish is also provided that often has a Japanese twist. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day.
The villa is just a short walk to the many Nozawa Onsen restaurants where you can have dinner and sample the fantastic Japanese cuisine. However if you don’t want to go out in the cold in the evening or really want to chill out, it’s possible to organise delivery of meals from some of the restaurants.
