Where is Nozawa Cottage?
Nozawa Cottage is set right across the road from the slopes and only 150m to the main Nagasaka Gondola.
Kick back in the living room and watch people gliding down the powder on one of Nozawa’s steepest runs, catch the ski jumpers on the Olympic Jump Course or watch the kids ski past the door.
Nozawa Cottage is the perfect place to watch all the action or, better still, get amongst it.
Nearest onsen is about 100m and there is a great restaurant next door.
The Arena Convention Centre and Restaurant and Private Onsen are also very nearby.

Nozawa Cottage is just a short walk to the many Nozawa Onsen restaurants where you can have dinner and sample the fantastic Japanese cuisine.
During the day there are many places to choose from just along the road from the House and in the evening a short stroll to the centre of town and over 30 restaurants to enjoy.
The hosts can take you to the nearby supermarket when you arrive to arrange any supplies you need.
Why Stay at Nozawa Cottage?
Nozawa Cottage is at the heart of the skiing action in Nozawa Onsen. It has the same feel as if you had a beachfront house but for a skier or boarder it is slope front. Still only short distance to the centre of town.
Even if not everyone in the group is a keen skier they can still relax and enjoy the ambience of this unique traditional alpine village.
So if you want your own space, to be able to cook for yourselves and relax and enjoy the house is the perfect option. Also have all the support of Lodge Staff just nearby whenever you need. They are a very handy resource and can assist with many different requests such as organising tours, lessons, rentals and transport or providing restaurant recommendations.
