Shopping
There are plenty of shops in the main street and side streets of St
Anton. In addition to clothing boutiques, there are shops selling
boots, souvenirs, sporting equipment, and traditional ski and snowboard
equipment and gear.
Ski and Snowboard ShopsThere are many ski and snowboard shops, some of them quite large. The
quality and range of the gear and clothing was fantastic, with many
up-market European and American brands. Unfortunately they had the
price-tag to match, so don’t expect to pick up too many bargains in St
Anton.
Souvenir ShoppingNone of the souvenirs excited us enough to make a purchase, perhaps because wood carvings aren’t quite our thing? There were a couple of shops selling St Anton clothing such as polar fleeces and t-shirts, but these were of poor quality. We’d come from Whistler the previous week, and there was a complete contrast in the quality and quantity of souvenirs available.
Grocery Shopping There is a medium-sized supermarket in the main street that sells a range of groceries and liquor.
