Accommodation
There is only one option for on-mountain accommodation at Sunshine Village - the
Sunshine Inn. This up-market hotel provides the great convenience of ski-in ski-out, and facilitates opportunities for first tracks. The only downside of staying on-mountain is that there is limited apres and nightlife at Sunshine Village.
Other alternatives for accommodation are in
Banff,
Lake Louise and Canmore. This has the distinct disadvantage of having to commute each day, but the advantage of the flexibility to try the other Banff resorts, and the opportunity to experience all that Banff has to offer –
après, nightlife and
shopping.
