For those who want a rest from downhill skiing or snowboarding, there are various other activities at
Silver Star Mountain Resort. These include: 60kms of cross country trails, tubing, skating, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and snowshoeing.
Indoor activities include rock climbing, the day spa and the fitness centre.
There are many activities specifically targeted for families. There are fun, free events such as carnival nights, fireworks, movies, bonfires and live entertainment. The weekly calendar of events may also include games nights, face painting, or snow sculpture competitions.
Tube Town is popular with families – it’s good cheap fun! This tubing area is only a short walk from the centre of Silver Star and features fast tube lifts. It’s open Mon to Thurs 4-9pm; Fri and Sat 11am-10pm; and Sunday 11am-9pm.
