Accommodation

Silver Star has lodgings to suit all tastes and budgets. Most of the on-mountain accommodation options are private houses or condos that are available for holiday rental. Many of these are ski-in ski-out, or at least ski-out.

The Knoll Residential Area is easily accessed by the Silver Woods lift, and has Victorian-themed houses which are rather bizarre, but very modern. The Silver Queen chair provides access to many houses in the Monashee Road area. Most of these accommodations at Silver Star can be booked through reservation services such as the Silver Star resort or Silver Star accommodation.

There are over 10 hotels at Silver Star. For ultimate convenience, you can stay right in the middle of the action at hotels such as Lord Aberdeen, Putnam Station or the Silver Star Club Resort. And the new Snowbird Lodge is in the perfect location on the corner of the main street and the ski run, overlooking the kids’ ski area. This accommodation is a cross between a hotel and full service condos (apartments), with various amenities including a theatre, gym, heated underground car parking, and children’s play area. It also has an adults’ play area where you can play pool, poker, and various computer games. Each condo (excluding the studios) has a hot tub on the deck, where it’s possible to soak the weary muscles whilst watching the stragglers coming off the ski hill.

Budget conscious travellers can stay in the hostel, and the other option is to stay in one of the bed and breakfasts on the road up to Silver Star resort. There are also hotels in the nearby town of Vernon, with the Prestige Hotel being one example.
