Leisurely Activities For a slightly less adrenaline-pumped activity you could go to the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre (600 Campbell Avenue). The pool provides plenty of fun year-round for children, the young at heart, and fitness freaks that haven’t used up enough energy skiing or snowboarding. In addition to swimming lanes, facilities include a waterslide, climbing wall, wading pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.

The Revelstoke Museum and Archives (corner of First & Boyle) provides an overview of the history of the town and district. During winter it is only open 1-4pm. The Railway Museum (719 Track Street West Revelstoke) also provides a great appreciation of the heritage of the area and the Canadian railway (closed Wed and Thurs over winter).

The Roxy Theatre (115 MacKenzie Ave) is a historical theatre but you won’t be stuck watching re-runs of the Blue Brothers. They show recent movies, but the cinema has the classic small town tradition of only showcasing one movie per week.
