Big Red Cats, based at Red Mountain in BC Canada operate one of the largest cat skiing businesses in the world.

Their terrain takes in eight mountains and over 500 runs on 19,300 acres (7,810 hectares). Add to this 5 very well decked-out snowcats and this makes Big Red Cats one of the largest cat ski operations in the world! All of their tours are guided by professional certified guides with a wealth of knowledge about the terrain.

OverviewThis tour is ideal if you would like to experience two different cat skiing operations with differing terrain. It combines 2 days with Big Red Cats along with 2 days with Valhalla Powdercats. The package includes 7 nights of accommodation so this leaves you with an additional 2 days to ski at Red Mountain Resort or you can skip over to Whitewater to test out some of the fabulous side and backcountry terrain on offer over there.

Another option if you aren't sick of cat skiing (yeah and that's likely - not!!!) would be to take an extra day or 2 of cat skiing with Big Red Cats on standby rates (subject to availability).

This trip will be enough to well-and-truly satisfy a short-term cat skiing addition; but will no doubt create a huge desire to do more in the future!

ItineraryThere is no set itinerary; you can choose which days in the week you want to cat ski at either Big Red Cats or Valhalla based on conditions, skill level and availability.

Transfers are not included in the package and it is assumed you will have your own car to get you to and from Valhalla's launching point (near Nelson). If you choose to go to Whitewater for a day you will also have to find your own way there and back.

Big Red Cats can send you to a local car hire company if you require transport.

Bookings

• A 30 % payment is required at the time of booking
